Privacy policy
Version of 7 October 2026. This is a translation; the Russian version prevails.
The operator of personal data is the sole proprietor Andrey Maksimovich Konkov (Russia; INN 971501075921, OGRNIP 322774600537839), the developer of Impulse Scanner. Legal information and contacts.
Impulse Scanner is an analytics app for Android, Android TV, tablets and Windows. It is built not to collect personal data: there is no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics services.
What the app does not do
- It does not ask for or store exchange logins, passwords or API keys and has no access to your accounts, balances or trades.
- It does not collect your name, phone number, e-mail, contacts, location, files or photos.
- It shows no ads and passes no data to advertising or analytics networks.
What is stored on the device
Settings, signal history, favourites, price levels, self-check journals and the Pro licence key are stored only in the app's storage on your device. You can delete them by clearing the app's data or uninstalling it. A backup is something you create yourself, in the settings, and store where you choose.
What goes over the network
- Exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX, BingX): requests for public market data — prices, candles, volumes, funding and open interest. Exchanges see the device's IP address, as when you open their website.
- The Impulse Scanner server (impulsescanner.ru): requests for prepared market data and shared self-check statistics, and passing a Pro key from the phone to a TV. The server sees the IP address and the requests themselves; access logs are kept for a limited time to run and protect the service. Anonymous statistics are computed from them — downloads, updates and visits per day — without storing IP addresses. When checking for updates the app sends its version number, its platform (Android or Windows) and the first 8 characters of the anonymous device hash (the same one used for the trial), so that one device is not counted several times when its IP address changes.
TV pairing and licences
To activate Pro on a TV the app creates a random installation identifier (not tied to the hardware) and a 6-digit code. The code and the key are kept in the server's memory for no longer than 10 minutes and deleted after the transfer.
The Pro trial is recorded on the server so that it does not reset on reinstall. For this the app sends an anonymous device identifier: on Android a SHA-256 hash of the system identifier (ANDROID_ID), on Windows a SHA-256 hash of the system's installation identifier (MachineGuid), each with the app's prefix. The identifier itself never leaves the device and cannot be recovered from the hash. The server stores the trial start date next to the hash.
Pro keys are activated through the server (up to three devices per key). For this the app sends the key and the same device hash. The server stores not the key but its hash (SHA-256), together with the holder's name or label and the term written in the key, the hashes of the devices it is activated on and the time of the last confirmation. This is used to count devices per key, for support (free a slot, move a key) and for anonymous statistics. The records can be deleted on request to the address below; the key will then have to be activated again.
Purchases
Payment for Pro keys is taken by the platform where you buy them (for example a digital goods store or an app store). Payment details are processed by that platform under its own rules; the app and the Impulse Scanner server never receive them.
Children
The app is intended for adults and is not designed for children.
